Capabilities and Credentials
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Technical degree or diploma from a recognized educational institution
- 1+ years experience installing, analyzing, and supporting Desktops, Laptops, periphery equipment and application software
- Strong understanding and aptitude for LAN interconnectivity concepts and Desktop computing security considerations
- Proficient in the configuration of desktop application packages such as Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting PC hardware and software related problems
Responsibilities
- Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties
- Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer
- Give access to computer networks
- Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Provide customer service
- Manage incidents
- Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Report on the performance of computer systems and networks
- Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties
