K Paul Architect Inc has opening for Architectural technologist (Noc 22210) who will support the team. As an Architectural technologist (Noc 22210), you will perform all or some of the following duties:
· Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)
· Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)
· Analyze technical documents and reports
· Assist in supervising construction projects
· Write specifications
· Monitor and inspect work
· Assist in design development
· Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
Education Qualifications: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Power Point, MS Project, MS Word
Area of work experience: Design
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail
Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Initiative, Organized, Team player
Architectural specialization: Industrial construction, Residential construction
