VENUS PLUMBING LTD Job Title: Plumber Helper Location: Abbotsford, BC Wages: $20.77/hr for 30 – 40 hrs/week Vacancies: 3 Job type: Full-time, Permanent Anticipated start date: ASAP Description: We are looking for Plumber helpers responsible for assisting leading plumbers and making minor repairs at homes and residences. Job Responsibilities of Plumber helper include:
- Install Plumbing systems, make minor repairs and diagnose plumbing issues
- Assist leading plumbers with plumbing system installations
- Clean drains, check and replace water heaters, run tests on pumps
- Inspect, repair and replace pumps, valves, boiler systems
- Meet customer service expectations through communication, problem resolution
- Operate and install wide variety of equipment
- Determine Water supply networks and waste drainage systems
- Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes according to requirement
- Maintain and keep construction site clean
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to work Independently and handle various projects
- Previous experience in construction will be an asset
- Working knowledge of plumbing tools
- Pay attention to detail
- Able to kneel, crouch and bend for extended period
- Ability to carry hand and power tools and supplies
