Responsibilities
Tasks
- Weld and Fit products according to specified blueprints and procedures
- Build products from blueprints and ensure internal quality measures are applied
- Conduct initial inspections of product to ensure adherence to safety and quality
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area in a professional and safe manner
- Operate a wide variety of machine tools including metal-cutting saws, grinders, drilling equipment and tapping machines.
- Verify parts and ensure dimensions (overall size and bend angles) are correct.
- Confirm quantity of parts to the shop order.
- Keep all parts of an order together and move them to the next station as per shop order.
- Skid parts for ease of shipping and identify parts if required.
- Keep station clean.
