PVP Construction Inc. has an opening for Concrete Finisher (Noc 73100) who will join our construction crew and support the team. If you have what it takes to be successful in this line of work, then this is the right position for you. We need a person with right attitude who can support our team and grow our business even further.

As a Concrete Finisher (Noc 73100), you will perform all or some of the following duties:

·         Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials

·         Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade

·         Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement

·         Operate power vibrators to compact concrete

·         Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification

·         Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

·         Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures

·         Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces

·         Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces

·         Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures

Education Qualifications: Completion of Secondary school or equivalent experience

Work experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 40 hours / week)

Employment conditions: Morning, Day, On call, Overtime

On the road job: Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Compensation: CAD $40.00 /hour
